HOW DOES IT WORK?
The microneedling technique consists of micro-perforations on well-targeted areas of the skin, using a microneedling pen made up of very short and very fine micro-needles creating a double stimulation of the skin.

What skincare products do you use with this treatment? Professional skincare products such as Genosys that have been tested and approved to be used with microneedling and that infuses nutrients to help with the repair process.
What happens during a facial? Firstly you will need to fill out a form when booking online so both you and the therapist are aware of any contra-indications that may effect the treatment. In person when you arrive at the salon you will be greeted and have a verbal consultation to cover any of your concerns and what areas will be treated. You then prepare for the treatment in private only removing items of clothing that are necessary for the facial. You will lie face up on the very comfortable treatment bed and the therapist will enter once you're ready any make any adjustments to ensure you're comfortable and ready for the facial. During the facial different steps will happen such as cleansing, enzyme peel etc with the use of hot flannels, steamer, where you can relax and let the magic happen!
Why are they different prices? Fillmed is a professional and medical grade skincare that has been thoroughly tested and proven to show results therefore the higher price. Stayve Gold is still a professional products with great results however its not medical grade therefore a lower cost.
Does microneedling hurt? No, it shouldn't hurt. It may feel slightly 'scratchy' 'spicy' or uncomfortable however it shouldn't be painful.
How often should I have microneedling? It's recommended to wait atleast 4-6 weeks between each microneedling treatment.
